Last weekend pastors and delegates of the Lutheran Church in Southeast Alaska gathered for prayer and fellowship at Shepherd of the Valley Church in Juneau. Pastor Shelley Wickstrom of Region 1 based in Seattle was our key-note speaker and gave insightful presentations on different aspects of Leadership. It is alway great to gather with the other pastors of Southeast and meet with delegates from around our cluster. Pastor Shelly is pictured below.

One real treat was to be invited to the Chapel by the Lake at Auke Bay to hear Marva Dawn speak. She is a prolific writer and gave a wonderful presentation on Sabbath rest. Below she is pictured with myself, Don Bieber of Petersburg and Rev. Tari Stage-Harvey
